We are currently seeking an subject matter and technical expert to support sales team on audio visual opportunities.
Articulate ComNet capabilities and value proposition in customer meetings and presentations Gather customer technical and business requirements with account managers Engage with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate existing systems; understand the organizations relevant platform and technology standards Collaborate with AV engineers and experts from other ComNet business practices as needed to develop custom solutions Develop system architecture, product and platform recommendations, cost estimates Create detailed, line-item proposals Prepare proposals that clearly define the scope-of-work and convey how the recommended solution fulfills clients needs Recommend appropriate support contracts and service level understanding with pricing Work with project managers to transition from sales to implementation Strategic account planning with sales and business development teams Develop AV technology plans and roadmaps for key accounts Evaluate products and technologies to include in company offerings
5+ years commercial AV system design experience Expert understanding of AV market and technology standards Experience presenting and explaining technology to a non-technical audience Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills Must be able to manage strict timelines and meet deadlines Experience and Desired Certifications: Collaboration and Conferencing systems, including hardware and software-based platforms (Cisco, Polycom, Skype for Business, Zoom, Audio and DSP Products (QSC Qsys, Biamp, Polycom, ClearOne) IP networking for AV systems (Crestron DM-NVX, SVSI, Dante, AVB) Control systems (Crestron, AMX) CTS-D Ideally based in a ComNet office; will consider remote Travel required Flexible schedule to work with ComNet offices and clients across multiple time zones Job Type: Full-time
