Peak Audio Video, a premier leader in the Audio Video industry throughout the intermountan region is hiring for an AV Installation Technician. As a Peak AV Technician, the selected candidate will demonstrate a friendly and professional demeanor when responding to customer requests for AV systems installs and repairs.

This position entails installing and servicing home automation systems, including AV, lighting, shades, and security. AV Technicians work as part of the on-site team to successfully execute assigned projects.

Primary Essential Functionsof this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Successfully execute and complete assigned projects through the finish phase

  • Work directly with individuals and teams for the success of the project

  • Low-voltage and signal-flow understanding

  • Control system experience, including Lutron, Crestron, and Savant

  • Education in electrical, AV field and ability to read plan sets and architectural drawings

  • Proficiency in wired and wireless networks

  • Strong organization skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and online communications skills

  • Goal- and task-oriented in a team-oriented environment

  • Exceptional customer service

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years as an AV technician preferred

License and Certification

  • Possess or obtain a Burglar Alarm Company Agent License through the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) and maintain current license throughout term of employment or have applied and subsequently been issued such a license prior to or at time of employment. As a Peak AV Employee, must carry the license at all times while on duty

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation

  • Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test

  • Must provide a current copy of driving record (MVR)
