Audi of Stratham, an International Cars, Ltd., company is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to add to our growing team. This individual must be a strong multi-tasker who enjoys working with the public to schedule service appointments, set up warranty work, and analyze service needs to include writing complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor/parts in a busy dealership.

The successful candidate will be able to meet or exceed the dealership standard for customer satisfaction, hours per repair order written, and proper documentation. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling the inventory to technicians available time a minimum of 20 hours a day.

  • Maintains or exceeds the dealership standard for "hours per customer repair order written' as well as customer satisfaction

  • Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.

  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.

  • Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.

  • Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician.

  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.

  • Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.

  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.

  • Establishes "promised time" and works to have vehicle completed within the time promised.

  • Obtains customer's signature on work order; provides customer with a copy.

  • Establishes customer's method of payment. Obtains credit approval, if necessary.

  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.

  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed. If work is performed under extended service contract then required authorization must be noted on the repair order.

  • Approves final repair order for printing.

  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.

  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.

  • Keeps up-to-date on technical service bulletins, service campaigns, and other service information.

  • Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to create positive and lasting relationships with clients.

  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, peers and managers.

  • Strong computer aptitude and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends & evenings.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
