Role Summary

  • The Region Operations Specialist role is a position designed to give the individual a solid background in automotive sales operations such that a strong foundational knowledge base can be built and leveraged to later move into a dealer facing field role or corporate/regional operations position. The Region Operations Specialist provides analysis and recommendations by gathering data and information and transforming it into reports and presentations which can be easily used by the field teams to make business decisions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support in gathering data & providing analysis for business reviews of dealerships in the region.

  • Support the Region VP in data analysis, report creation, administration and other ad hoc assignments.

  • Support the Region Operations Senior Director with the collection, reporting and analysis of sales numbers & other sales performance metrics.

Region Reporting:

  • Operations/Management - ad hoc sales and inventory reporting, dealer business reviews, Monthly/Weekly/Daily sales reports

  • Marketing

  • Dealer Ad Group retail and wholesale performance
  • Network Development
  • Registration/market share reports, Customer Enthusiasm Reports.

Field Reporting:

  • Ad hoc sales and inventory reports

  • Area-level incentive programs and sales contests

Corporate Reporting:

  • Interface with Corporate Sales Operations align reporting functions to find synergies

  • Support the Audi Region with regional analysis & ad hoc reports.

  • Prepare & present recommendations for management decisions based on data analysis.

  • Maintain traffic report, sales contests, monthly newsletter, regional ad group budgets, regional budgets, & monthly Dealer letters.

  • Manage the creation & distribution of regional communications to the dealers and field teams.

  • Manage corporate communications together with Dealer Communications Specialist offering input & guidance where needed.

  • Plan, manage & execute region and dealer level events, maximizing resources while still providing a Tier 1 experience for attendees. Events include bi-annual region meetings, bi-annual dealer sales meetings, and dealer incentive trips.

  • Provide administrative & logistical support to region office on an as needed basis.

  • Assist Region Marketing Manager/Area General Managers with marketing events/auto show activation.

  • Provide support to Region Distribution manager on an as needed basis.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

General Skills

  • Communication skills

  • Proven analytical skills

Specialized Skills

  • Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Background in or knowledge of the Automotive Industry (desired)

Work Flexibility

  • Some travel required
