Now Hiring Attorney North Dallas Mass tort firm has an immediate need for a attorney who can help with drafting discovery responses and Plaintiff fact sheets. Experience with Federal PACER e-filing is required. This role will require calling plaintiffs and drafting the fact sheets. must be comfortable on the phone talking with clients.

Performs legal research in order prepare necessary legal documents including contracts, merger and acquisition instruments, agreements, commitments, franchises, deeds and easements. 2. Reviews and negotiates all of these legal documents to ensure compliance with legal regulation and that the interests and needs of the organization are met. 3. Provides problem resolution through the administration of approved solutions and plans appropriate courses of action. 4. Participates in litigation the Company is involved in, including but not limited to, personal injury, contract and employment matters. Assists Sr Attorney in representing the organization in these legal disputes. 5. Provides advice and counsel to all levels of management regarding various legal issues and matters affecting the Company, including but not limited to, securities, litigation, real estate and employment. 6. Coordinates and supervises outside counsel, adjusters and expert witnesses. Develops trial strategy and assists in case preparation and presentation. 7. Performs general legal research involving various issues and concerns in order to reduce or eliminate liability risks. 8. Provides legal advice to Company management regarding the development and revision of plans, policies and practices. 9. Oversees the administration of collecting account receivables, past due bills, property damage claims, bankruptcies and general litigation. 10. Examines pending and current legislation and advises appropriate parties of pertinent court and administrative decisions. 11. Performs other related duties as required. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 1. Doctorate of Jurisprudence and four years professional legal experience. 2. License to practice law in the state of Texas. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature. NUMERIC SKILLS: Requires the ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. COMPUTER SKILLS: Requires basic computer skills for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks. WORK CONDITIONS: Works in an office environment.
