Bio-Rad Laboratories is looking for an in-house corporate intellectual property counsel to support its global organization. This Intellectual Property Attorney must have strong communication and negotiation skills and work well with clients and colleagues. This position reports to the VP, Asst. General Counsel Intellectual Property.
Developing and managing company intellectual property and monetization strategies.
Analyzing third party patents, freedom-to-operate studies.
Drafting and negotiating intellectual property licensing agreements.
IP litigation support and IP due diligence.
IP training and counseling.
6-8 years of Intellectual Property Law experience in a law firm or corporation is required.
Previous in-house experience in a life science or clinical diagnostics company desired.
A JD from an accredited Law School is required.
Degree in a Life Science field is an added benefit.
