Overview

The BOH Supervisor is responsible for warehouse and fulfillment operations, product receiving, inventory integrity, and day-to-day staff management. They will report to the Management team of retail. The Job requires organization, problem-solving and communication skills. They will perform several day-to-day tasks related to standard warehouse operations, staff oversight, and additional tasks as assignment by the management team. The BOH Supervisor serves as the acting manager on duty in the absence of management staff.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Service

• Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction when applicable

• Understands and can describe product offerings, packaging/presentation, inventory, and pricing.

• Performs regular cycle counts and inventory adjustments

• Maintains inventory of warehouse and e-commerce supplies

• Adheres to location guidelines (checklist)

• Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests as well as in the completion of assigned tasks and daily responsibilities.

• Ensures all products are labeled and counted accurately on shelves

• Coaches teammates on best practices and develops staff in accordance with best warehouse practices

• Assist with e-commerce operations and fulfillment

• Assist with customer service ticket response through Gorgias platform

• Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

Supervision

• Serves as lead point of contact for warehouse, or acting manager is absence of management.

• Understands Levy Core signature principals and Rank and Rally core principals.

• Ensures employees are following all applicable rules and regulations, as well as state laws, with regards to services, breaks, and best practices

• Provides leadership within a given area of the operation and communicates needs and challenges with management as appropriate

• Teaches employees best practices as it relates to warehouse standards on service and controls

• Identifies areas of opportunity with staff and coaches appropriately

• Ensures all employees are following uniform code, attendance, and service policies in accordance with Levy expectations

• Lead fulfillment team in warehouse for timely e-commerce order fulfillment

• Assist with event count-ins, count-outs, set-ups and sports event preparation

• Thorough knowledge of POS operating system

• Ensures highest levels and standards are met

Controls

• Follows proper receiving protocols

• Accurately uses POS system

• Employs good safety and sanitation practices

• Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment

• Ensures all employees are following Core Levy principals by holding themselves and others accountable for store and service standards

• Communicates guest issues to management

• Communicates employee issues to management and resolves where appropriate

• Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook

• Manages and controls floor inventory and product offerings

• Complete all assigned paperwork including checklists, inventory forms, transfer forms, and other paperwork as assigned

• Knowledgeable of Retail Cloud and atVenu POS System

• Thorough knowledge of best inventory practices and management

• Responsible for cycle counts and inventory levels within all warehouse locations

• Assists with purchase order entry and AP/AR where applicable

• Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

Team

• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers

• Helps fellow team members whenever necessary

• Always on time and ready to perform all required duties

• Proven ability to lead and communicate both verbally and written

Availability

• Available for all designated high volume days or black out event

• Available for Sports and Consignment events

• Available to pick-up shifts within a reasonable ask from management

• Available for extended shifts as needed

• Available for count-ins, outs, and event preparation both consignment and sports

Job Requirements

• Lifts and transports up to 50 lbs.

• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain store area

• Walks and stands during entire shift

• Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English

• English reading, writing, and math skills required

• Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

• Must be of legal age to work in the state of Nevada and provide appropriate documentation needed for employment

Job Summary

Summary: Works with warehouse associates to prepare and move merchandise according to established safety, performance and accuracy standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the distribution center. Performance directly impacts overall safety, cost and service metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures appropriate functions, duties and procedures are performed as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.

• Receives, unloads, moves and loads merchandise.

• Verifies correct counts of items received and notes discrepancies or damages.

• Issues and delivers items to the proper destination and obtains signatures to document delivery/receipt.

• Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage; rotates stock according to schedule.

• Maintains work area in a safe and proper manner; reports any unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.

• Manages and maintains stock control; plans future needs and adjusting par levels, processes stock order review orders, controls dead stock and maintains scheduling of deliveries on dock.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
