Overview

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Basic Function - Ensure that appropriate number of cars is kept on location throughout shift, cars are being parked in an appropriate fashion and the lot is kept clean and presentable.

Responsibilities

  • Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.

  • Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.

  • Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.

  • Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.

  • Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.

  • Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.

  • Courteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the Customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance.

  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.

  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.

  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to garage office.

  • Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.

  • Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License Requirement: The individual will only be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

Appearance: Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

VIEW JOBS 9/24/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-23T00:00 <p>Job Description</p><p>Outside Services Assistant</p><p>Responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests by conducting the Golf Operations outside services efficiently.</p><p>This position reports directly to the Director of Golf or Head Golf Pro with indirect reporting to other Golf Professionals and Assistants.</p><p>Day to Day:</p><ul><li><p>Provides Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments and Fond Farewells to all Members/Guests of the Club by smiling, looking the Member/Guest in the eye and greeting them by name as they approach the golf/staging area or within the Golf Shop areas.</p></li><li><p>Assist golfers by loading bags, cleaning clubs and preparing golfers for play ensuring all their needs are met and questions answered. Assist by giving suggestions on proper golf course etiquette.</p></li><li><p>Cleaning and maintain the storage areas and golf cart fleet at all times.</p></li><li><p>Marshal carts in the staging area and assign golf carts to players so the golf carts can be tracked when they are occupied by Members/Guests.</p></li><li><p>Assist golfers after their round by cleaning clubs, delivering them to their cars as needed and checking in the golf carts.</p></li><li><p>Be knowledgeable and promote events at the Club, course conditions, events in progress, and any information that will be helpful to the Member/Guest, allowing them to enjoy the Club amenities and activities.</p></li><li><p>Maintain club storage areas and cart barn in a clean and orderly manner with clubs (rental, member, etc.), equipment, etc. and in proper areas. Report any damage to clubs or equipment immediately to Golf Shop.</p></li><li><p>Maintain the practice areas so they are set-up and continually supplied (i.e., range balls, etc.) and in order for daily usage.</p></li><li><p>Maintain area outside pro shop, parking lot, etc. so that it is uncongested, neat and free of debris at all times.</p></li><li><p>Assist and coordinate services with other golf operations staff such as range attendants, cart attendants, marshals/starters, etc. to ensure seamless and efficient service to Members/Guests takes place.</p></li><li><p>Ensure daily assignments are completed in their respective areas, to meet Club standards (i.e., orderly/organized work areas, straighten/arrange entry area, straightening/stocking of golf shop, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Assist fellow Employees, Members/Guests to ensure delivery of the Three Steps of Service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.</p></li><li><p>Notify management of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur. Practice good service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last minute requests as needed.</p></li></ul><p>All the other stuff we do:</p><ul><li><p>Because of the fluctuating demands of the companys operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employee Partners are expected to help you.
