Job Specifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Six (6) months of experience in a similar position or as a Slot Club Attendant.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Working knowledge of computers and player tracking system.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Provide customer service by enrolling new members and servicing existing members. Assist guests with accounts, point redemption, promotion entries, and any other questions to ensure favorable gaming experience. Serve as a team leader on assigned shift and assist in the training of new Attendants

Job Functions

  • Represent the company in a friendly and courteous manner by providing information regarding club details: enrollment, membership procedures, prizes and advantages.

  • Enroll guests in players club using computerized system; issue original and duplicate membership cards, and make necessary changes to account with proper identification.

  • Assist with and have complete knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.

  • Issue complimentary services consistent with company policy.

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of player's club equipment, supplies, prized, and promotional items.

  • Serve as a team leader on shift by assisting Attendants with more complex matters and assist in their training.

VIEW JOBS 10/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-10T00:00 Location: Springfield, Massachusetts Position Summary It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician to make repairs and maintain gaming devices, including performing major moves of slot machines and other gaming equipment on the gaming floor, while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Essential Functions and Tasks This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by employees in this position. The incumbent is expected to perform other duties necessary for effective operation of the department * Monitors slot radio for assistance with machine malfunctions. * Performs floor repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines, including machine cleaning and overhauls. * Works with Slot Technical Team members and provides support for the Slot Operational Team members to ensure slot machines, change machines, and on-line system equipment are in proper working order and all customer needs are satisfied. * Verifies the accuracy of large slot jackpots prior to cash payout to guests. * Performs major machine moves, and assists with other departmental projects (e.g., conversions). * Circulates through an assigned section and ensures the area is clean and safe, including responding to slot machine lights and customer requests in a quick and timely manner. * Promotes and maintains the highest level of service to all guests, including smiling, greeting, and making eye contact, while staying alert to their needs. * Works closely and communicates with other departments, such as EVS, Cocktail Servers, Cage, and Security. * Maintains an awareness of any persons gambling underage and reports all underage persons to Supervisor and/or Security, as needed. * Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Supervisory Responsibilities None Education and/or Experience Required: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Two (2) years of technical gaming experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Preferred: * Four (4) years of technical gaming experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Bilingual abilities. * Experience with working with computers. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations * Gaming Permit. * Electronic certification courses, as required. * Background and Drug Check.
