Peninsula Friends of Animals is currently seeking a dedicated Feline Caretaker to provide exceptional care for our rescue kittens, adult cats, and senior felines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cat health and behavior.
Responsibilities for this role include overseeing feline well-being, administering medications, feeding, thoroughly sanitizing play areas, and maintaining litter box cleanliness. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic work setting, navigate stairs with ease, and lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Additional Job Skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with volunteers, visitors, and potential adopters. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, such as handling aggressive or fearful cats. Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and ability to administer treatments under supervision.
