JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist the attendance clerk in the accurate accounting of campus membership and attendance.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather and record information on a daily basis for attendance.

• Contact parents of absent students.

• Develop and distribute the daily absence list.

• Assist attendance clerk in data entry functions.

• Assist in the registration of new students.

• Process all requests for records.

• Maintain close communication with Attendance Clerk.

• Retain and store all documents required for State audit at close of each school year.

• Order Rosters through Campus Attendance Liaison as needed.

• Meet deadlines as established by Principal and Attendance Clerk.

• Forward records as requests are received.

• Send requests for records when a new student enrolls.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Regular attendance.

EXPERIENCE:

• One to three years clerical work

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Deadline sensitive

• Typing, filing, organizational skills, computer skills

• Meeting students, public and parents

• Good communication skills

Pay Grade AS-2 - Minimum hourly rate - $14.50
