The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health, is seeking a General Surgeon for Atrium Health General Surgery University in University, NC. The practice currently has a team of surgeons plus 2 APPs covering EGS needs 24/7 in the hospital. The elective practice will have 2 surgeons, 1 APP and 7 teammates.

We are looking for someone with a team mindset and experience in a high volume practice who wants to make an impact in a growing suburban community of Charlotte. Details about the opportunity include: General surgery experience required Position would be primarily based at Atrium Health University City and an ambulatory surgery center with plans to expand to a second facility nearby (currently under construction) Looking for proactive surgeon who can effectively engage with referring physicians Shared call 1:4 EGS Practice has been in place since 2020 with the focused elective practice opening in 2024 Bread and butter general surgery If its possible, you will find it at Atrium Healththe leading community-focused academic healthcare system serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
