This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program with Siemens Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.

Siemens EDA is the longest standing Electronic Design Automation company in the world and over the last 30 years has amassed the finest technology portfolio in the business. Our software tools span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design & manufacturing solutions, cable harness design tools, and embedded software.

We are looking for talented software engineers to join our team in the development of design tools for integrated circuits. You will be part of a group of experienced software engineers developing new features and algorithms in this leading edge industry.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for implementing, debugging, and supporting innovative and diverse features for IC design. The software frequently involves rapid user interaction, so careful consideration of the user experience is an important part of the job.

At the same time, IC design involves massive data sets, so performance considerations are critical when implementing new features. Challenges will include high-performance data-structures, multi-threading, distributed computing, multi-platform support, and object-oriented design of C++ software.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

• Experience with object-oriented C++ software development

• Strong analysis, design and problem-solving skills

• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

The salary range for this position is $30.96/hr to $55.72/hr and this role is eligible to earn another 3% in variable pay. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
