Job Description:

Budget title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)

Salary: Commensurate with experience

  • Serve as the Department's primary purchasing agent.

  • Work directly with Head Coaches (or designated Assistant Coaches) to confirm and finalize placement of all team equipment and apparel orders after appropriate approvals have been secured.

  • Serve as primary liaison with uniform/equipment, suppliers, and coordinate seasonal apparel/equipment "showcases" to facilitate timely orders.

  • Make final payments (P-Card) on all orders after confirmation of delivery/inventory.

  • Explore potential secondary agreements and serve as primary agent for any/all vendor agreements i.e. Rawlings. Secure necessary documentation and approvals.

  • Serve as department liaison to AE Conference office regarding compliance to any/all uniform regulations i.e. logo placements, logo size, etc. Assure that all uniform designs meet department standards, specific to use of approved logos, markings, etc.

  • Provide any necessary documentation and support of semi-annual inventories of issued equipment and uniforms for all sport programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Must demonstrate strong communications skills

  • Organized and professional

  • Ability to work effectively with staff, coaches and administrators

  • Familiarity with software ordering/tracking/inventory systems

  • Understanding of NCAA compliance regulations relating to apparel and equipment

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/finance preferred

  • Purchasing work experience

Job Description: Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3) Salary: $48,201 The Purchasing Assistant is a full-time professional position reporting directly to the Director of Procurement. The duties of the position include but are not limited to: * Administration of all aspects of contract review for procurement purposes which include software agreements, affiliation agreements, clinical affiliation agreements, overseas academic programs, revocable permits, independent contractors, and general procurements. * Assist as a purchasing, accounts payable and travel marketing person to promote the initiatives of all three areas to the campus community. This work includes keeping policies and procedures up to date via website, training, campus wide information system, etc. * Assist where necessary on large dollar items used for discretionary spend which include scientific equipment, IT equipment, facilities equipment, sporting equipment, furniture and vehicles. * Assist in all other Purchasing related areas that include: P-card audits and reviews, travel, NET card audits and reviews, purchase order approval, website improvements, account cleanup. * Assist in accounts payable and travel during busy seasons. * Serve as the Purchasing representatives on the Campus Emergency Management Team as well as McGuire Building Administrator.
