The Athletics Communications temporary position will serve as an assistant to the Communications team for the day-to-day coverage of the athletic programs. This includes, but not limited to:
Event stories
NCAA and CAA statistical information
Student-Athlete honor nominations
Event note packages
Maintaining UNCWSports.com schedules and rosters
Feature stories written or video
Maintain website pages
Compilation of statistical information for records
Maintain student-athlete and coaches bios on UNCWSports.com
Assist creative personnel with production of promotional items for the Seahawk Club and Ticketing Office
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency
Must be highly dependable, flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public
Strong problem solving skills
Work effectively as a team member
Previous customer service experience preferred

Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment.
