The State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz welcomes applications for the role of Athletics Business Coordinator in the department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation. This position will be responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation/Business Manager with all aspects of the department's business operations. As a member of the Department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation this individual must abide by all NCAA, State University of New York Athletic Conference and University. This role will assist the Associate Director/Business Manager with all areas of business management for the Department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation. Duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Serve as the department's point person for procurement activities

• Serve as the point person with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Travel Office

• Assist with the operations of Half Court, Athletics' concession stand

• Serve as the point person for travel activities, scheduling transportation , lodging, & etc

• Assist with budget development and management of assigned accounts

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Master's degree

• Accounting experience
