ATHLETIC TRAINER: This is a full-time position that is directly responsible to Program Manager of Sports Medicine and indirectly responsible to Head Athletic Trainer.

Athletic Trainer must demonstrate ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, treatment, & reconditioning as set forth by NATABOC. AT will also demonstrate proper taping, bracing, strapping & fitting of athletic equipment. The ATC will carry out all prescribed treatments & recommendations by the physician.

AT will maintain BOC certification & state of Ohio licensure in accordance with requirements. AT will cover assigned pre-participation physicals, games, matches, and contracted events under the supervision of designated physician.

AT must demonstrate knowledge of principals of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the athlete's status & interpret the appropriate information.

AT also works to ensure high standard of quality care to patients and clients, and development of program and growth initiatives. Individual also evaluates, plans, and administers treatment and care of athletes under the direct supervision of a designated physician. Provides coverage for assigned high school and applicable special events.
