Requirements / Qualifications

A valid National Athletic Trainers Association Board Certification Master's Degree Required Appropriate CTE Credential with the industry sector: Health Science & Medical Technology or Designated Subjects teaching credential or eligibility for the appropriate credential. ? Candidates without a credential must have 3 years of experience within the field.

CalAPS will assist individuals in obtaining the preliminary credential provided the candidate can prove applicable proof of experience. Credential costs will be reimbursed by CalAPS. Three (3) years of work experience in the technical skills, trade, or vocations to be taught are required. One (1) of the three (3) years of the required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years.

Comments and Other Information

This position will be located at Bellflower High School and it will begin Fall 2024. Part-time position with employee CalSTRS retirement program included.

The hours will vary from 5.5 hours or more. Athletic Trainer Clinic Hours - starting from 1:55pm
