Why should you join the ATC Lab Services team?
Simply put, you'll be the catalyst for a relationship with a strategic customer to design and execute test cases against a maturing Cisco SD-WAN architecture. As well as collaborate with a high performing team to create wwt.com articles and insights.
What will you be doing?
Potential candidates will need a deep understanding of routing and switching networking technologies, and be able to navigate complex lab environments containing network, compute, storage, and security components. The architect will use these skills to evaluate and develop SD-WAN testing scenarios that align with a strategic customer's business goals. Common tasks include understanding the customer's business cases, scoping potential lab requests from those cases, designing the respective lab architecture and testing methodology, facilitating the build of the lab environment, and ultimately executing the test plan within the lab.
Experience in designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise-class networks, including the following:
Cisco SD-WAN (cEdge and vEdge)
Understanding of underlay and it's role SD-WAN
Understanding of overlay and it's role in SD-WAN
Understanding of Centralized and Localized Policies and their role in SD-WAN
Understanding of Security Policies and their role in SD-WAN
Understanding of virtual networking
Proficiency in the following protocols:
BGP (highest priority)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
Programing experience (preferred)
CCNP certification or equivalent work experience is required
Sound organizational, time management and teamwork skills are required
Experience providing technical training
Experience with network testing methodology
SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGY SKILLS REQUIRED:
Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
Basic Linux CLI
