Job Overview:

The At Your Service Center Associate is responsible for providing a great customer experience during all At Your Service activities including Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions, ringing and processing return merchandise, handling non-congruent items and performing other assigned duties in accordance with procedures and standards.

Macy's uses a scheduling plan that allows our associates to participate in the creation of their work schedules by managing availability and identifying preferences. Additionally, during key events and peak selling times, Macy's may offer additional shifts to our associates, which they may pick up using the self-scheduling tool. Essential Functions:

  • Proactive in assisting customers who are using devices to shop and compare, whether Macy's devices or their own.

  • Assist customers in all aspects of total store fulfillment and have the ability to satisfy the needs of our digital and physical customers by making appropriate partnerships when necessary.

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the # 1 priority.

  • Acknowledge Customers in a friendly and helpful manner upon Customer's entry into the area.

  • Be knowledgeable of POS/MPOS procedures and proficient in all transactions including BOPS Pickup

  • Customer Returns, Non-Congruent Chits, Search and Send, My Client and More@ Macy's tablet app.

  • Proactive in assisting customers who are using devices to shop and compare, whether Macy's devices or their own.

  • Meet our BOPS/Service Level Agreement (SLA) by ensuring the BOPS collection area is organized and the Customer pick up experience is friction-free.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to drive sales and minimize returns.

  • Sell gift cards and work to resolve customers' Macy's card issues, as needed.

  • Follow store's audit policies and procedures.

  • Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures and follow shortage programs and procedures.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years related experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.

  • Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department

  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision

  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions

  • Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs

Receive patient assignments from the Director-Clinical Operations (DCO) and / or Team Director (TD) 2. Assume responsibility for a patient and family, including, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care 3. Initiate communication with attending physicians, other hospice staff members and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient and family 4. Maintain regular communication with TD, to review care 5. Maintain regular communication with the attending physician concerning patient and family care 6. Obtain data on physical, psychological, social and spiritual factors which may influence patient and family health status and incorporate data into the plan of care 7. Maintain up-to-date patient records so that problems, plans, actions and goals are accurately and clearly stated, changes are reflected as they occur, and all documentation is completed before leaving the IPC at the end of the shift 8. Accept responsibility for coordinating the physical care of the patient by teaching primary caregivers, volunteers, employed caregivers, and by providing direct care 9. Instruct the patient and caregiver how to; a. Administer medication and recognize side effects b. Perform personal care and oral hygiene c. Assist in lifting, moving, ambulation and exercise d. Prepare for the events preceding death 10. Inform TD, of unusual or potentially problematic patient and family issues 11. Attend Hospice team meetings and other patient conferences as deemed necessary by the TD 12. Provide appropriate support at time of death 13. Share in providing 24/7 coverage to patients and families 14. Assist in making hospice aide assignments, prepare written instructions for the aide and supervise the aides in the home 15. Participate in hospice orientation and ongoing education programs 16. Demonstrate familiarity with policies of the agency and state(s) and federal regulations pertaining to nursing services 17. Participate on committees and special projects and other related duties as assigned 18. Perform other duties as assigned including those within the scope of current, valid professional licensure/credentials (i.e. RN, SW, Chaplain, MT, HA, etc.).
