At Home Opportunity for SLP's in Southeast

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning and providing speech services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. The SLP will assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their students' ability to derive full benefit from the educational program. VocoVision is seeking a part-time SLP to provide therapeutic services to our Georgia districts.

Assignment Type

  • Contract; 1099
  • Part-time; 23 - 32 hours weekly


  • Master's in Speech Language Pathology

  • Equivalent South Carolina OR Georgia OR Florida Licensure

  • ASHA Certification


  • Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in Individual Education Plans (IEP)

  • Ensures that the Apprentice performs only those tasks that are within the scope of the Apprentice in speech-language

  • Assist and guide teachers and other staff members in preventing and/or observing, describing and referring suspected and identified speech, language and hearing impairments

The Opportunity: * Full or part time with flexible hours * Generous base pay plus performance bonuses as part of an above market compensation package * Benefits offered and vary based on location * Company paid malpractice insurance * Opportunities for advancement across the nation Responsibilities: * Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated. * Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions. * Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary. * Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment. * Maintain accurate case histories of patients. * Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated. * Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary. * Analyze x-rays in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems. * Patient chiropractic care and education * Building positive doctor-patient relationships * Maintaining accurate and timely patient records * Sales of membership packages Qualifications needed: * 4 year bachelor degree from accredited college * A doctor of chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college * Passing scores for Parts I,II,III and IV from NCBE * A recent NBCE SPEC exam is acceptable alternative for Part IV * Valid DC license in applicable state * Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in applicable state The Joint Cooper City FL
