Trane Technologies is seeking a highly motivated candidate and a results-oriented leader to join our team as a Manager, Assurance & Advisory Services for the Americas region. This role will provide leadership to the Americas internal audit team, with responsibility for the end-to-end audit process and other critical compliance initiatives. The role will be a key part of the Global Assurance & Advisory Services team to ensure we maintain a leading-practice program and continue to embed sustainable processes and controls within the Company's culture. The ideal candidate will have significant audit and internal controls experience, the ability to work with and direct teams to deliver value-add audit and consulting services, strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Based in Davidson, North Carolina, this role reports to the Americas Audit Director and is eligible for hybrid flexibility (3 days/week on-site). This role will lead a team of senior auditors and associates. Travel expectation for this role is estimated at approximately 20-25%.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of a broad range of audit and compliance initiatives.

  • Participate in the development of the risk-based rolling audit plan with a focus on allocating audit resources to the areas of greatest financial, operational or compliance risk within the Company.

  • Deliver the end-to-end audit process including planning, execution and reporting of audits, as well as remediation of identified issues

  • Develop and maintain strong technical skills in accounting, audit, information technology and other areas.

  • Mentor, train, and supervise employees, including providing substantive, objective, and timely feedback of staff performance, both formal and informal.

  • Provide career coaching and development to assist employees with personal goals and career path opportunities.

  • Leverage data analytics to plan and execute audit field work.

  • Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported audit reports in a timely manner.

  • Support ad-hoc activities and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent, required.

  • CPA or CIA highly preferred.

  • 5+ years of combined relevant audit and/or manufacturing accounting experience required, including relevant public accounting experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess key operational and financial risk areas, identify and implement process improvements and perform in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to build a positive rapport with team members throughout a global organization.

  • Exhibit a positive attitude, confidence, and poise under pressure.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $105,000-130,000. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
