Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach courses in costume design, stage makeup, makeup for the camera, and special topics in areas of expertise.

• Mentor BFA Design and Technology students in costume design.

• Aid in the recruitment efforts of the Design & Technology area.

Required Qualifications

• MFA in Costume Design or related theatre design field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in costume crafts, cosplay, textiles, fabric modification, and costume production/manipulation.

• A willingness to explore new and innovative ways of costume design visualization through digital rendering and/or 3D modeling.

• Experience with machine aided workflows including 3D modeling and 3D printing.

• A strong emphasis in a secondary design/technology/management area (lighting/scenery/sound/management).
