Residential Support Advocates and Assistant Residence Directors are part of a professional team responsible for assisting each individual to live a safe, enjoyable life in their community with opportunities to learn and to exercise increasing independence and control over their lives. The people we support participate in the hiring, training and evaluation of employees who work with them. The agency and its employees are responsible to the people we support.

Responsibilities

To treat all individuals with dignity and respect.To support individuals to take control of their lives, to make wise decisions that enhances their ability to reach their goals. To support individuals to take on as much control as possible over the routines and activities in their home.To teach, assist and support individuals in the community and at home so that the individual is able to learn, practice and master skills that enable him/her to enhance his/her status by assuming socially valued roles.To support each individual's existing relationships and increase their networks of friends and acquaintances.To insure that all individuals are supported to explore and express their interest for community membership.To ensure that the health and wellbeing of individuals are met by accompanying individuals on appointments as needed, administering medications (or supporting them to self medicate) in accordance with residential guidelines and DDS policy, providing a well-balanced diet prepared to meet individual needs (when applicable), following all instructions given by Primary Care Physician and Health Care Coordinator.To complete agency training program in a timely manner and participate in other professional development as required by supervisor.To implement ISP/Support Plans and strategies as written and at frequency stated in the plan. Demonstrate accurate data collection procedures and consistent use of described support strategies that promote success.Maintain all required certifications such as medication administration, First Aid & CPR.Successfully complete the training program in a timely manner.To participate in individual advocacy system Full-time/part-time employees: applicable

To take a leadership role in advocacy with and on behalf of the individuals. To take a leadership role in supporting the accomplishment of the individual's goals.To monitor and maintain individual's ISP program book to ensure data collection occurs at frequency stated.

To review data collection monthly and prepare written progress notes quarterly or at frequency stated in ISP to assist in the development of ISP assessments and attend ISP meeting. To assist in personal needs and clothing purchases; plan with Residence Director budgeting needs of individual; manage individual's funds within budget; provide receipts and maintain all individual expenses in accordance with subsidiary guidelines. To maintain neatness and cleanliness of individual's bedrooms. To maintain regular contact and positive relationship with individual's family members/guardians which includes providing status updates, scheduling visits, and acting as a positive liaison between family/guardian and the residential program.To maintain regular contact and positive relationship with work program staff.To assist the individuals with household shopping and maintenance as necessary, providing ongoing opportunity for individuals to assume increasing control, responsibility.To participate in supervision meetings with the Residence Director.To participate actively in staff meetings.To facilitate teamwork between all team members via open communication, sharing of responsibilities and a positive, constructive attitude.

Qualifications

Commitment to assisting people with developmental disabilities to participate fully in the life of their community.Safe passenger vehicle and good driving record, adequate insurance, license.Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).Ability to work as part of a team; positive and constructive.

The Strategic Marketing Director will lead and work in close collaboration with the entire team in the College Marketing & Communications office (CMC) to leverage marketing and communication vehicles and tools, including public relations, media relations, Holy Cross magazine, digital and social media, photography, video, and advertising. This position is highly skilled at motivating and leading others, including peers and team members who report to others. Reporting to the Vice President for Communications, the Director of Strategic Marketing will develop and execute plans that elevate awareness of the College brand, enhance the reputation of the College and achieve strategic marketing goals critical to the success of the College. Major Areas of Responsibilities * Lead the team of marketing professional within College Marketing & Communications (currently includes 3 direct reports, 11 total team members). * Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in CMC and across campus, develop an overall strategic marketing plan. * Develop and execute new strategic marketing initiatives and projects. * Work, in a collaborative way, with a variety of team members within CMC and across campus to develop and execute initiatives. * Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of marketing campaigns to provide strategic recommendations. * Report on analytics and market research to inform CMC and the campus community of the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives. * Continuously assess outcomes and improve processes. * Establish positive relations and interactions within CMC and across campus. * In addition to new strategic marketing initiatives, oversee the department's ongoing content marketing efforts, including managing and producing Holy Cross Magazine, Holy Cross Monthly, and social media channels of the College. Administrate web content, writing, photography and video production. * Oversee and manage digital and social media communications strategy. Stay abreast of and capitalize on social media trends. Help develop and maintain the day-to-day "voice" of the College and community in social media and web platforms, providing both proactive and responsive communications. * Develop and implement web marketing strategies and campaigns in support of the College's enrollment goals as well as other constituent group projects through social media channels, creative writing and communications content creation. * Oversee social media programs that have measurable, beneficial results. Ensure that content adheres to SEO best practices. * Recommend yearly budget distribution for the Marketing and Communication functions at the College. * Work effectively as a liaison between various departments/users to ensure that services, quality and costs are balanced. * Prepare and maintain departmental salary and operational budgets in accordance with procedures and uphold accountability for operating within approved budget limits. Monitor budget to ensure brand compliance with Finance's fiscal year guidelines. Provide budgetary status to Vice President for Communications and Finance department. * In support of our College Mission, strive to provide customer service to both internal and external customers with fairness, respect and dignity * Demonstrate advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and readily acquiring new technical skills. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional and personal networks. * Alter schedule when necessary to accommodate work requirements. Overnight and out-of-town travel required. * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably managing marketing efforts in a multifaceted organization (higher education institution a plus). * Excellent track record of leading collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent project development and management skills. Desired Experience: * Higher education experience preferred. * Experience in interpreting and applying data analytics. * Exceptional presentation skills. * Proficient computer skills with the capability to master new software applications and technologies.
