Job Purpose
Management and leadership of Equipment Service team assigned to support daily production. Provide technical, business, and leadership support to a team of associates consisting of ES Coordinators, Staff, Team Leaders, & Technicians. The duties are diverse and cover topics such as Cross Functional support of special requests, Long range planning, support & follow up on daily manufacturing operational needs.
Key Accountabilities
Daily/Weekly/Monthly SQP support, reporting, and counter measure activity
Develop and manage Repair & Maintenance budget for assigned manufacturing department; general daily mgmt.. and senior mgmt.. report development and reporting
Develop and manage manpower plan and overtime budget for ES team assigned to lead
Oversee and lead new equipment installations, equipment modification developments and planning (Engineering support)
Performance Management of all direct reports: evaluations, direction, goal setting, manpower onboarding, development, mentoring & planning
Develop, support implementation, and manage ES Business Planning; performance indicators and strategies and planning of resournces
Respond to equipment emergency downtime, root cause analysis, CM's & post event reporting; cross team collaboration & support for both emergency and scheduled activities
Weekend and shut down support as needed - planning, activity, reporting, implementation, line testing, etc.
Cross Functional support of Regional, Plant & Department critical themes
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
High School Diploma (two-year degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial) or equivalent equipment maintenance program completion);
Preferred but not required: Certified Reliability Leader (Current CRL certification)
Minimum of 10 years maintenance experience with 3-5 years of supervisory experience
Thorough understanding of industrial equipment controls (PLC, robotics, servo, CNC), electrical, and mechanical systems
Functional ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints
Thorough understanding and application of Reliability Centered Maintenance practices
Good computer skills - MSOffice, Maximo, Kronos, etc.
Strong decision making skills with ability to create & implement strategies effectively
Strong leadership skills w/ an open minded approach
Exposure to business planning and or E-Flow (budget c
Willingness to support any shift as required
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
Workstyle
Manufacturing environment with three shifts of operation
Potential for 10-20 hours of overtime per week which can include weekends and or holidays
Occasional travel for training and equipment build events
60% office w/ 40% floor related activities
Sporadic travel with the typical duration not to exceed 2 weeks
