This position supports career advising, instruction, and outreach initiatives. It will serve in teaching, advising, program/project management and outreach (student and employer) roles. This position will provide teaching support (instruction, grading, etc.) for undergraduate career management course under the direction of the Associate Director for Career Development/Education. The person in this position will provide one-on-one career advising/coaching for undergraduate business/management students as well as conduct career/professional-oriented workshops and assist with special event/program management and implementation.
Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Student Personnel/Higher Education, Counseling, Education or Communications
Three years of experience in career services, human resources, business, counseling/advising or education
Excellent oral/written communication skills along with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and career management software as well as the Internet
Ability to advise, counsel, teach, present, plan, and manage events and projects
Ability to supervise students
Ability to conduct outreach
