KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate Technology Assurance for our Risk Advisory Solutions practice.
Participate on various client engagements relating to the financial services industry, including investment managers, private wealth management providers, securities lending operations, and mutual fund complexes, focused on operational and control assessment and enhancement
Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of SOC 1 / SSAE 18 engagements for clients, including evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of operations controls throughout the business cycle
Help identify and communicate audit findings and performance improvement opportunities to clients
Perform detailed risk and controls reviews of key client processes, identify potential weaknesses, and recommend practical alternatives for mitigation and improvement
Document results of internal control and process assessments and reviews following firm guidelines and methodologies
Contribute to the design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:
Supervise and serve as a mentor to associates, new hires, and interns on engagements
Serve as a liaison between clients and upper management
Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services
A minimum of one year of experience in a related field (internal or external audit, risk assessment, compliance, business process reengineering)
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university; degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Able and eager to learn and apply new skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel as necessary

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:
A minimum of three years of related work experience in a financial services or consulting firm
Demonstrated supervisory experience
