This position is responsible for Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning system administration, maintenance, issue resolution, and ongoing design and configuration support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or closely related field or an Associate's degree with 3 plus years of experience
3+ Years experience in Workday Financials configuration and support
2+ Years experience in Adaptive Planning
Strong financial accounting background & technical systems skills
Effective time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple simultaneous project streams with independent, and sometimes competing timelines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the organization
The ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions
A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Innovative Thinker
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for the Workday Finance functional areas, including configuration, business processes, and related security
Performs Adaptive Planning administrator functions such as maintaining the models, dimensions and management of user access
Triage Adaptive Planning new report requests and evaluate for fit, priority, and level of effort to deploy
Maintains the Service Desk ticket queue for Finance functional tickets. Ensures that tickets are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with applicable SLAs
Coordinates with Finance and Business users for the execution of projects. Understands the business goals & objectives, as well as required functionality of new processes
Investigates and resolves application functionality related issues and provides first level support and troubleshooting of our Finance Workday system and Adaptive Planning
Writes standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports as well as creates complex calculated fields
Understands the new Workday features, assess viability for the TOUR, and makes recommendations to the financial systems team
Tests and validates new Workday releases and enhancements
Conducts testing during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project implementation lifecycle. Escalates questions about features and functionality
Supports Kainos Testing remediation and Audit Alerts
Develops and maintains documentation and training material for both, Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
Special Projects as assigned
