This position is responsible for Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning system administration, maintenance, issue resolution, and ongoing design and configuration support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or closely related field or an Associate's degree with 3 plus years of experience

  • 3+ Years experience in Workday Financials configuration and support

  • 2+ Years experience in Adaptive Planning

  • Strong financial accounting background & technical systems skills

  • Effective time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple simultaneous project streams with independent, and sometimes competing timelines

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the organization

  • The ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions

  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Innovative Thinker

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for the Workday Finance functional areas, including configuration, business processes, and related security

  • Performs Adaptive Planning administrator functions such as maintaining the models, dimensions and management of user access

  • Triage Adaptive Planning new report requests and evaluate for fit, priority, and level of effort to deploy

  • Maintains the Service Desk ticket queue for Finance functional tickets. Ensures that tickets are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with applicable SLAs

  • Coordinates with Finance and Business users for the execution of projects. Understands the business goals & objectives, as well as required functionality of new processes

  • Investigates and resolves application functionality related issues and provides first level support and troubleshooting of our Finance Workday system and Adaptive Planning

  • Writes standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports as well as creates complex calculated fields

  • Understands the new Workday features, assess viability for the TOUR, and makes recommendations to the financial systems team

  • Tests and validates new Workday releases and enhancements

  • Conducts testing during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project implementation lifecycle. Escalates questions about features and functionality

  • Supports Kainos Testing remediation and Audit Alerts

  • Develops and maintains documentation and training material for both, Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning

  • Special Projects as assigned
