Description

I. Technical Expertise

Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the applications and data architectures, including the inter-relationships and interfaces between systems and technologies.

Provides expertise in multiple applications technologies including leading edge technologies.

Plays a role in strategic technology planning. Able to develop sophisticated technology plans that require the integration of multiple technologies, and the interrelationships of multiple systems serving diverse customers. Brings technical knowledge from external sources and incorporates those ideas into IT.

II. Industry Knowledge/Emerging Technologies

Maintains an understanding of ARAMARK's business strategies and customer objectives, and factors them into business and technology planning. Proposes new business strategies to support the strategic direction of their line-of-business and/or an integrated ARAMARK IT function. Champions technology solutions as a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

I. Industry Knowledge/Emerging Technologies

Builds and maintains strong working knowledge of the business area and the applications that support it. Develops a basic understanding of the industry and the products and services of ARAMARK. Has a solid understanding of how systems effect and benefit clients.

II. Communication and Client Interaction

Can produce basic documentation of a new or proposed system, methodology or structure. Effectively contributes to project plans and work output of the group.

Shares knowledge effectively within the work team. Customizes presentations to the interests of the audience.

III. Problem Solving/Decision Making

Analyzes systems and processes from end to end, assessing how information/systems are managed and used from multiple perspectives. Frequently enlisted to address complex cross-technology and cross platform issues.

Evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions. Designs projects with broad implication for the business and/or the future architecture, successfully addressing cross-technology and cross-platform issues.

IV. Project Life Cycle Management

Acts as a technical advisor to project teams, providing special technical expertise. Strong experience with all phases of the project life cycle.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills

  • Requires 10 (or more) years of management experience in IT Leadership capacity

  • Proven experience leading large and complex projects and environments

  • Ability to present to and interface with customers, both business and IT, in order to counsel, recommend and implement successful, cost effective IT solutions.

  • Strong business planning skills to execute strategic projects with implications for business areas with rapidly evolving business processes. Must posses a balanced perspective on strategic and tactical issues.

  • Proven ability to select top talent and create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, continual learning and development of key personnel for future advancement.

EDUCATION:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university ideally with a concentration in IT or related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable, but not required.
