Associate Veterinarian

Companion Pet Clinic is looking to add a third veterinarian to our well-established, yet still growing practice, in beautiful Gold Canyon. Our experienced doctors and veterinary support staff are committed to bringing better animal health care to clients and pets through advanced veterinary medicine. Our hospital is located near the base of the Superstition Mountains, which offers amazing views and is a great outdoor area for hiking, trails, golf, and other areas for outdoor enthusiasts.

Highlights of our practice and the position include:

• Full time or part time position available

• No on call or after hours emergency responsibility

• Flexible scheduling

• Appointments scheduled every 30 minutes

• Dedicated, knowledgeable support staff

• Compliant clientele

• Full service hospital with in house laboratory, digital radiographs, and dental radiographs

• Mobile specialists utilized for imaging, advanced surgeries

Our compensation package includes starting base salaries between $120,000 - $150,000 with generous sign-on and relocation bonuses available. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, health savings/flexible spending), life and disability insurance, 401K with company contribution, PTO, generous CE allowance with additional PTO allotted, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.

Gold Canyon, AZ is a quiet, open suburb of Phoenix, located about 10 minutes east of Mesa. Gold Canyon is adjacent to the Superstition Mountain Wilderness and at the foothills of Superstition Mountain, which offer thousands of square miles of public land for hiking, bike riding, photography, camping and other outdoor activities. The amazing views, along with evening sunsets, makes Gold Canyon one of the most picturesque areas in all of Arizona. It is a great place to call home.
