Associate Veterinarian - Part Time - Pine Bush, NY

VCA Pine Bush Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Pine Bush, New York.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

We are in a close-knit team that works hard to keep our family of clients and patients happy and healthy! We offer therapeutic laser, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and some reproductive work.

Our office is open Monday through Friday (basically 9-5 or 6) and every other Saturday (8-1). We schedule surgeries 2 days a week- alternating doctors. We do not hospitalize overnight, so any surgical procedures or patients that we feel will need overnight care are referred. We use 2 local emergency hospitals for our after-hours emergency calls.

Pine Bush is a growing community located in the beautiful Hudson Valley. There is plenty of hiking nearby (Sam's Point, the Gunks, Mohonk Mountain, Minnewasksa to name a few). We are midway between Newburgh and Middletown so there are lots of shopping opportunities. New York City is 90 miles away should you want to take in a show! Pine Bush also claims to be a hotspot for UFO sighting and hosts a UFO Fair each year. Pretty diverse area for a small town!

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $130K - $150K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
