Spencer Springs Animal Hospital, led by Medical Director Dr. Heba Abouyoussef, is seeking an experienced Associate DVM with strong surgical and dental skills to join our growing team Due to our expanding client base, we're adding an additional associate to our well-established animal hospital in Las Vegas.

We are a focused, animal-centric, team-oriented group of hardworking but fun-loving veterinary professionals. As an AAHA accredited facility, Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of in-patient care and exceptional client service to our pet owners. Our compassionate team includes Veterinarians, LVT's, and dedicated hospital support staff.

We are open Monday through Saturday to serve our community. Equipment Perks Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is equipped with an on-site IDEXX laboratory and a full pharmacy. Our skilled veterinary staff offers comprehensive services including complete dental care, routine surgery, general medicine, and diagnostic care.

We prioritize preventive medicine and strive to keep vaccinations and other preventive care needs affordable for our clients. Living in Las Vegas, NV Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is located 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Residents enjoy a diverse culinary scene, bustling nightlife, and endless recreational activities.

We are close to dazzling casinos, world-class entertainment, and extravagant hotels to the natural beauty of Red Rock Canyon and Lake Mead - there's something for everyone in this desert oasis WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Salary ($140,000 - $200,000 per year) Production Bonus Pay Employee Referral Program Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Relocation assistance available Paid Time Off & holidays Continuing Education time off and reimbursement Financial Wellness Program 401K plus company match Paid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability Insurance Work/Life Balance (me time) CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: Supports excellence in client experience Works collaboratively with HM and Medical Director Practices high quality, gold standard medicine Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed Stay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practices COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Nevada 2 years of clinical experience, preferred Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment Good communication skills, both written and verbal Time-management and delegation abilities Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others Apply today We look forward to hearing from you Company Overview Companion Pet Partners collaborates with 32 hospitals around the Western United States, one of the hospitals being Spencer Springs Animal Hospital.
