Position Purpose

Under frequent supervision, the Associate Treasury Analyst supports the administration of various investment and treasury functions. Offers assistance to senior team members, provides internal peer review and quality control oversight of accounting processes. Supports the completion of reports to various committees.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable: Coordinates the daily payment processes for accounts payable.

  • Collateral: Performs various tasks related to the administration of insurance-related collateral.

  • Additional Duties May Include:

  • Cash Management: Manages daily processes related to cash management and forecasting.

  • Cash Accounting: Ensures timely and accurate posting of cash related transactions.

  • Short-Term Debt/Investments: Executes short term debt/investment transactions and responsible for accounting, reporting, and monitoring debt compliance.

  • Bank Relationships & Services: Participates in bank relationship management; Maintains and manages bank account records and services.

  • Card Program Administration: Administers corporate credit card programs.

  • Travel and Expense Management: Administers corporate T&E Policy, maintains applications used for travel procurement and expense reporting, and manages relationship with travel management vendor.

  • Capital Administration: Performs various tasks related to the administration of capital, such as common stock reconciliations and shareholder/affiliate dividends.

  • Investment Accounting: Completes various GAAP and Statutory accounting tasks related to investment portfolios.

  • Miscellaneous Functions:

a. Performs general recordkeeping, accounting, and reconciliations as needed.

b. Identifies and recommends process improvements and cost savings opportunities.

c. Performs special projects and data analytics as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • 0+ years of experience in a similar field or position.

Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Ability to use spreadsheet software to summarize and analyze large amounts of data.
