U.S. Facilities and Operations:

Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Assists in the coordination, facilitation and evaluation of GMP training plans and programs for the U.S. Use of the learning management system (LMS) to assign, track and report on training.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties

  • Assists in training employees at all levels on cGMP principles and development topics as needed.

  • Helps to create schedules for training program roll out by partnering with operations business partners to coordinate required training.

  • Supports projects as a team member for training projects.

  • Understands and utilizes the Learning Management System to support the business needs re: compliance.

  • Assists in coordination of outside resources and implementation of employee development/training programs.

  • Supports the Trainer in the development of effective training materials, such as facilitator guides, user guides, job aids, visual aids and measurement tools.

  • May support training of assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective training techniques (e.g. new employee orientation, on-the-job training, employee and leadership development, changes/updates in policies and procedures or training systems).

  • Supports managing and implementing training programs to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

  • Assists with marketing and communication of site training programs.

  • Works with vendors and outside contractors to deliver employee training.

  • Supports the roll out and implementation of job aids, measurement tools that support the site training programs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience required including some background in the facilitation of GMP training and employee development programs.

Desired:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience implementing communication plan.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
