To help fuel our company's growth, we are looking for an Associate Surface/Graphic Designer with exceptional creative abilities. This person will support the Special Projects initiative, which includes Licensed Properties, Customization, Cultural Moments, Collaborations, and more.

The ideal candidate has a passion for product, design, art, and our brand personality, coupled with a drive for business results and creative horsepower. Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to both think strategically and act tactically, rolling their sleeves up to get things done quickly and with limited resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Sr. Merchandise Manager in the seasonal execution of all special projects, taking direction, but lending perspective, to line plan direction and assortment planning

• Understands licensed sports marketplace trends and execute design needs that are trend-appropriate

• Create and Maintain production ready millsheets to be communicated to vendors for Partnerships & Collaborations

• Organization of the Partnership & Collaboration assets, strike offs & trims

• Partnering w/ Sourcing/Production & Director of Surface Design to provide color & execution comments on strike-offs & submits.

• Make accurate revisions and recolors based on customer and license needs

• Execute re-colors and updates using the Adobe Creative Suite

• Put prints in repeat layouts

• Input tools and assets into PLM system and updating when needed

• Create and maintain BOMs of core styles for Partnerships and Customizations

• Communication cross functionally with Partnerships & Collaboration stakeholders to maintain off calendar timelines.

• Maintain Chubbies brand consistency throughout a variety of IP

• Review and complete changes on various license dashboards

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of (Design or Art) Fine Art, Fashion Design, or Textile Design or equivalent work experience

• 1-3 years of professional experience

• Resourceful and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite with expertise in Illustrator

• Experience and Knowledge in Textile Design

• Must be able to create Print Repeats

• Ability work well under pressure in a startup environment

• Exhibits a strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Embraces collaboration with cross functional teams

• Proficient in individually managing multiple projects daily while meeting established deadlines

• Field related portfolio
