UPM Raflatac is looking for an Associate Territory Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales and relationships with their customers, as well as acquisition of new customers in Florida. In their work, the Associate Territory Sales Manager is implementing the company sales strategy and working in alignment with the agreed best practice. The Associate Territory Sales Manager is responsible for leading the account action planning and delivery with existing, regular, and new customers in the Florida area, with an approximate size of $10M+ in annual revenue. This position is based in Fletcher, North Carolina.

What you'll do:

  • Develop existing and new customer relationships in-line with targets for the given customer portfolio within the account segmentation, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, plan and lead customer meetings according to segmentation virtually and in person, effectively using sales tools to ensure all customer information is up-to-date

  • Manage opportunity pipeline and forecasting for current and prospective customers, including evaluating opportunities and risks, and conduct customer analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers

  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and prepare reports on key performance indicators and sales progress within the sales cycle and achievements

  • Manage customer portfolios to deliver required level of profitability and take corrective actions where targets are not being achieved, actively collaborating with relevant parts of the organization, including Sales Teams, Strategic Business Units, and Customer Service, to support in servicing customer needs

  • Take responsibility of customer inquiry handling and claim handling with the target of solving customers problems, deploy Technical Sales to visit the customer for solving a claim case, provide product training and consultancy, provide product consultancy and training upon customers' needs, manage the resolution of commercial (non-justified) complaints in alignment with UPM Raflatac claim handling policy

  • Keep accounts receivables on target level and take action in case of overdue, collect customers' balance sheets and any other needed documents for credit control

  • Provide back up in the local sales team during vacations and absences, and participate, where required, in industry events and exhibitions

Who you are:

  • You have 3+ years of successful work experience in sales, ideally in a B-to-B environment

  • You have relevant commercial degree/education and technical understanding of complex products

  • You have experience or knowledge of the packaging or labeling industry and market

  • You have interpersonal, communication, and networking skills

  • You have commercial and phone selling skills

  • You have experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com

  • Spanish fluency is seen as an asset

Additional information:

Travel Requirements: Potentially up to 30% working with sales teams and customers, primarily in the Florida area.

Location: Fletcher, NC

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
