Toast consistently adding 15+ team members per month. If you are to join you will be responsible for bringing in candidates that are top notch for R&D and technical positions. Your technical aptitude will greatly impact your success. We have built a recruiting team that is metric driven and focuses on closing the best candidates in the market. The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for:

  • Communicate with managers to determine and anticipate staffing needs and changes for AR.

  • Implement and enforce consistency with recruiting policies and procedures.

  • Successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline according to established benchmarks and metrics

  • Develop sourcing strategies, plans and pipeline

  • Review and screen all resumes and applications

  • Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs and other events

  • Successfully draws on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR Business Partners

  • Understand and make recommendations for ideas and strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ years of corporate and/or search firm progressive technology recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.

  • Experience sourcing and closing technical candidates (software and hardware) in a competitive marketplace

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong attention to detail, experience using and maintaining ATS systems.

  • Aptitude for exceptional candidate generation, and client/account management

This role will focus on the areas of diesel engines, fuel systems, diesel engine emissions theory, diagnostics, service, safety, applied failure analysis, and testing. This position will be catering to vast skill set of technicians from foundational to advanced level. The training provided will be conducted in a classroom/lab setting. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES * Facilitates learning in classroom, on-the-job and electronic settings, managing all aspects of the learning environment. * Designs and develops training courses, including course content, instructor's guides, training aids, handouts, hands-on activities and assessments. Revises existing courses and updates materials, based on changes in technology and equipment. * Collaborates with product support management, technical communicators, manufacturer representatives, service managers, and branch managers to ensure training needs are being met and establish training objectives focusing on competencies and increased productivity and business unit goals. * Coordinates class rosters, schedules, equipment, facilities and evaluation data related to courses delivered and other activities related to area of expertise and utilizes the CAT Dealer Performance Center (DPC) and SuccessFactors (SF) learning management system. * Keeps current on specific areas of expertise, to remain a subject-matter expert within area of specialization; participates in independent study, coursework and on-the-job activities relevant to area of specialty, including one-on-one consultation with active technicians. * May perform other duties as required and assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: * Associate's degree in diesel technology, engines, automotive or related field required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Training and development experience in a related industry preferred * On highway truck experience or heavy equipment preferred * Minimum 5 years of experience servicing diesel engines and engine electronic systems. * Valid driver's license required.
