Job Description:

Job Duties

  • Support both internal and external users with technical and application issues.

  • Monitor phone and email queues.

  • Provide first level assistance for defined problems and escalate tickets/calls as necessary.

  • Log tickets and escalate to product support.

  • Track calls and document problems.

  • Consult knowledge database to optimize resolutions and follow through on resolution with callers.

  • Answer, read and document information into tracking tickets.

Job Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Two year technical degree or equivalent work related experience preferred

  • Entry level position, but customer support experience is preferred

  • Aptitude for providing excellent customer service

  • Good communication skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Telephone etiquette

Due to the continued growth of our Management Consulting practice we are seeking an Oracle Cloud Technical Consulting Manager. This position will be focused upon the technical oversight and delivery of SaaS solutions leveraging the Oracle Cloud suite. The technical manager works as a member of the Baker Tilly engagement team to provide business and technical expertise in the areas of Cloud HCM, ERP, EPM and PaaS applications. Baker Tilly professionals on our Strategic Cloud Services team provide management consulting services for back office operations for all industries and size companies up to global fortune 50 companies. We focus specifically on cloud strategy, process design, program management, and system implementations wrapped around Oracle cloud technologies. It's an exciting time to join Baker Tilly! Baker Tilly Annual Report 2018 Responsibilities * Development of technical strategy to enable cloud implementations * Hands-on formulation of technical architecture to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned to business goals and value acquisition * Apply technical knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with functional consulting staff on Baker Tilly engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned/driven Oracle Cloud solutions * A focus on business solution alignment, from gathering requirements, overseeing development, testing and system deployments typically around integration, data conversion, reporting and fast formulas * Oversight of global technical delivery teams to ensure program cohesion across cloud applications Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering or related field * Minimum of five (5) years of Oracle cloud implementation experience, with a strong preference of hands-on experience with one or more of the Oracle cloud applications. Previous related industry and consulting experience in competing product sets will be entertained (Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.) * Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects * Hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), Spreadsheet Loaders, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher * Experience with Java, XML, Service Oriented Architecture (Oracle SOA Suite), Business Intelligence (OBIEE) is preferable * Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies * Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required * Previous team management experience a plus * Must be willing to work nontraditional business hours for client demands * Ability to travel; potentially up to 50% Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP Milwaukee WI
