Associate Technical Editor

Job Description The Propulsion Plant Manual Integration unit is seeking a Technical Editor to join our dynamic team. We manage and publish Propulsion Plant Manuals for the Navy sailors.

You will work with a diverse team to prepare and publish the manual. Additional job responsibilities include developing and maintaining processes used during publication as well as publication guidelines for authoring content. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Skills The ideal candidate is: Preferred degrees: Technical and/or Project Management.

Someone with XML markup language (or similar) experience.

Someone with database experience, such as Oracle and MS Access databases. Someone with project management experience.
