Savage X Fenty is looking for an Associate Technical Designer

How Do You Fit In?

As the Associate Technical Designer you will join an exciting and growing brand. You will manage the fit sample process from development to PPS. You will attend fittings and work with cross functional team members to have the best class fit. You will work together to come up with creative solutions when meeting challenges. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, a self-starter, a fast learner and team player and have experience in bras/lingerie.

This position will report to the Senior Technical Designer

What You Will Do:

• Create initial spec for proto tech packs.

• Measure all samples to be sure they align with specs.

• Participate in fit session on model, evaluate fits and provide fit corrections.

• Take detail notes in fitting and follow up with Sr. Technical Designer and Designer as needed.

• Manage the fit process from development to pre-production samples.

• Identify any technical problems with fit samples and follow through to ensure all issues are resolved prior to production.

• Clearly communication fit corrections and specs to vendors.

• Manage all fit communication with vendors.

• Analyze garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent.

• Make sure all samples are coming in in a timely manner according to calendar.

• Will work closely with designers and production team as well as import vendors.

What You Can Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design or equivalent direct work experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Technical Design

• Previous experience in Bras and lingerie.

• Previous experience in plus size.

• Solid understanding of grade rules.

• Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishing.

• Eye for fit and construction.

• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a time sensitive environment and under pressure.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters on a hybrid schedule

The annual base salary range for this position is from $64,800-74,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
