Job Title: Associate Teacher Limited Term Position

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, our Associate Teacher will be responsible for the assisting in the operations of their classroom in accordance with all applicable policies and regulations, and the supervision of assigned staff.

The Early Childhood Program

• Supports the development and growth of children and their families by providing quality child care, parent/child experiences, parenting education and individual family support services.

Our Associate Teacher assists in developing and implementing the Early Childhood Development and Health Services program by provides developmentally and culturally appropriate experiences. Includes parents in the development of goals for their children. Participates in home visits and conferences with parents.

Temporary Full Time: July 15, 2024 through approximately November 2024; Monday

• Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Salary : $16.00 - $18.50 per hour

Location: San Andreas Preschool

Requirements:

• 12 ECE units, including core courses

• Some experience working with young children

• Preventative Health & Safety Certificate preferred

• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

• Valid Calif. Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage

• Physical Examination, proof of current negative TB test, be immunized for measles and pertussis and current influenza shot
