Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to support our business in Hazelwood, MO. This organization supports BGS-Government Supply Chain Planning through use of statistical analysis and other analytics techniques. A successful candidate will understand the importance of data analytics as this position will focus on working directly with the Supply Chain planning and execution teams to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the BGS business to meet organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with business unit stakeholders to develop and sustain analytics solutions

  • Conducts evaluation, validation and continuous performance monitoring of supported applications, models and analyses

  • Helps setup of data and modeling pipelines

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem-solving

  • Champions culture of quality, learning, trust, and collaborative communication

  • Performs defined data analytics tasks to meet business objectives

  • Assess performance of models and analysis to confirm business objectives were met

  • Evaluate the performance of data analysis algorithms

  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast-paced environment

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 3 days per week minimum at the listed location option (Hazelwood, MO). This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Data analytics
  • 1+ years of experience in Forecasting, Planning, Analytics and Supply Chain processes.
  • 1+ years of experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure a high-quality delivery.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Operations, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of Engineering

  • Great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 2 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $90,950 - $115,000
