Partner with the COO, North America to drive key priorities

  • Build operational and execution-oriented plans (largely in PowerPoint and Excel) to execute on key priorities (current and not limited to) building and achieving Commercial sales goals

  • Work across the Commercial organization and key executives to align organizational alignment

  • Facilitate project management-oriented process to deliver on Commercial goals and objectives

Partner COO, North America to develop vision and lead execution of strategy

  • Help develop vision and roadmap for Commercial function

  • Lead analyses and support to make key decisions

Assist the development and execution of various Commercial initiatives

  • Manage projects with multiple cross-functional teams across the Boston and Memphis offices to execute on key Commercial initiatives

Develop new business cases, own the development, and manage the implementation

  • Implement key strategic initiatives, core to Indigo's vision and lead evaluation of key assets with a focus on bringing the CEOs vision and the company mission to life

  • Work closely with Strategy and Business Development to lead and coordinate highly effective strategic planning processes that result in clear directives for the Commercial organization

Special projects, as needs for position evolve

  • Develop and implement commercial processes and systems

  • Work with COO to develop and execute on commercial hiring plan

  • Support creation of new business models across multiple crops and geographies


  • Excellent analytical capabilities, top tier financial modeling skills/experience, and insight development (data to insights)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to a wide range of audiences

  • Strong PowerPoint and story building skills

  • Able to draft first versions of presentations to support strategic initiatives with high quality

  • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to requirements to complete projects

  • Strong interest in Indigo's mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals

  • Strong desire to learn and to develop skill sets

  • Willing to travel and work long hours

  • Able to manage ambiguity

  • Takes ownership in work

  • High organized and able to multitask

  • Knowledge of options and trading is beneficial but not required


  • 2-3 years of work experience

  • Banking, private equity, consulting and/or strategy/business development experience

  • Agriculture experience a plus, but not necessary

The LEAD-R Program is a two-year leadership development program for recent college graduates. LEAD-Rs will complete 4 six-month rotations through various areas of Operations. Examples of rotations include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Planning, Lifecycle Management, Plant Scheduling, Procurement, Field Logistics, Operations Finance, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Distribution. LEAD-Rs may have leadership-based roles during their second-year contingent on performance. The goal of the LEAD-R Program is to equip LEAD-Rs with the foundational knowledge, broad business exposure, and professional development needed to accelerate their career path at Wright Medical. Upon completion of this program, LEAD-Rs will have the chance to choose a position at Wright based on skills, desire, and business needs. Essential Job Functions: * Develop high business acumen and technical skills through a broad range of training and on the job experience * Build diverse foundational knowledge through a variety of operations and supply chain roles during 4 six- month rotations * Benefit from multiple assigned Executive, Development, Functional and Peer Mentors that aim to support LEAD-Rs with career advice, personal development, constructive criticism, professional guidance, and day-to-day job training * Build relationships through networking with leadership and a talented, supportive, cohort-style peer group * Accelerated professional and technical skills development through mentorships, training, executive presentations, etc. * Ability to work autonomously with support as needed * Opportunity to pitch innovative ideas to company leadership and work on/lead project teams to bring your ideas to fruition * Fast-tracked learning of the Wright Medical business and the medical device industry Skills: * Strong quantitative, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills * Data mining and extrapolation skills * Well-versed in supply chain and operations concepts * Self-directed with ability to exercise independent judgement * Capable of communicating findings, making recommendations, and facilitating change * Ability to professionally interact with employees of all levels * Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, statistics applications, JDE preferred Education and Experience Requirements: * 3.0 GPA or higher in a reputable supply chain management or industrial engineering program * This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits. * Internship, prior work or military experience required * Demonstrated aptitude for leadership, a passion for continuous improvement, and desire to build a career in Supply Chain and/or Operations in the Medical Device industry * A strong understanding of data visualization and the ability to combine, analyze and summarize multiple data sets * Highly motivated, excellent communication skills, adaptable, innovative, team player * Ability to travel domestically and internationally Wright Medical Group, Inc.
