Associate Staff Physician

POSITION PURPOSE:

As an Associate Staff Physician, you'll be joining our mission to deliver exceptional naturopathic patient care and empower healthcare leaders of tomorrow. Through expert patient management, mentoring naturopathic medical students, and building a thriving practice, your role is fundamental to shaping the future of naturopathic medicine. This position can be your stepping stone to becoming a full Staff Physician with Sonoran University Clinical Care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medical Professional:

• Champion a culture of exemplary clinical care and patient safety, driving excellence at every level.

• Collaborate with our clinic leadership team to drive patient engagement and promote Medical Center services.

• Develop strategies to optimize patient volume and revenue, maximizing the impact of our services.

Clinical Education:

• Mentor and supervise students during clinical rotations, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

• Deliver clinical course content to align with evolving best practices and program outcomes.

• Provide timely feedback and evaluations for students, guiding their development as future healthcare professionals.

Patient Care:

• Serve as a leader in our Medical Center, delivering compassionate and seamlessly coordinated patient care.

• Act decisively in clinical care, demonstrating unwavering professionalism at all times.

• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols, setting an example for all staff, faculty and students.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Active and unrestricted Arizona license to practice naturopathic medicine, license to dispense, and valid DEA number

• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certificates

• MMR, TB, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19 documentation, as per Sonoran University and Medical Center policies

• Complete mandatory annual trainings including, but not limited to, HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, TB education, etc.

• Minimum ONE year of post-graduate healthcare experience required.
