Job Overview

The Associate Shopper Marketing Manager is a critical role for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) as it will contribute to growing KDP sales and profit by supporting the Shopper Marketing Team in the development, execution and analysis of shopper marketing plans for our brands, customer focused team and retail stakeholders.

The role demands a results-oriented, analytical thinker with strong project management skills. You must bring solution-based thinking, analytical rigor and a high level of drive to this position. Experience in developing and executing shopper marketing programs is also a key demand of this position.

This individual must proactively identify potential business risks and deliver solutions that will address the business need(s). You must have a proven track record of results for the business you manage and the ability to analyze results to prove out return on investment (ROI) on the projects you lead.

Critical to the success of this role is the partnership you must create with the broader organization. The ability to work with and influence cross-functional partners is critical as this role will interact with various departments in the organization including Sales, Activation, Insights, Brand Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Legal, Accounting and external agency partners.

Position Responsibilities:

Builds Strategic Work Relationships

  • Proactively builds effective working relationships with applicable consumer packaged goods (CPG) target brand(s) and key cross functional groups including but not limited to Sales, Activation, Insights, Brand Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Legal and external agency partners

  • Places higher priority on team or organization goals versus personal goals

  • Seeks and expands on original ideas, enhances others' ideas, and contributes own ideas to solve the opportunity at hand

Program Development and Execution

  • Leverages strong project management discipline to establish planning principles, critical dates and deliverable expectations for key account needs

  • Works with leaders and team to lead and develop key account and channel activities to support customer needs

  • Drives decision-making that will lead to program enhancements and process improvements

  • Delivers top-notch execution to ensure KDP planning vision is executed effectively

  • Assists leader and team with the development and execution of the key account planning deliverables

  • Works with leader and team to support sales in providing field-level details in a timely manner to drive impact in-store

Analytical Rigor/Post-Analysis/Financial Management

  • Leverages IRI tools to analyze syndicated data to identify opportunities and risks to the business and recommend solutions to address

  • Develops fact-based sell stories that enable the successful sell-in of brand led initiatives

  • Conducts post-launch assessment of all brand led initiatives to show impact on key metrics like sales, shopper metrics and long-term impact

  • Builds and manages budget to maximize spend and deliver results

  • Focuses expenditures against value-driving initiatives, and provides early visibility to budget overages or shortfalls



  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years of Shopper or Brand experience via agency, selling or marketing

  • Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing and running reports using IRI or Nielsen and strong analytics including ability to analyze syndicated and internal business reports

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial and project management, including executing a project from start to finish

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Excel and PowerPoint
