Associate Scientist, RNA Team (Contractor)

ElevateBio is looking for a curious, creative problem solver with a strong attention to detail to join our RNA team. This person will use their background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field to make critical contributions to the development of circRNA-based approaches that enhance cell and gene therapies. Prior experience working with RNA is desirable but not required.
Here's What You'll Do:

Responsible for producing routine and novel circRNA material for projects & platform
Work to further optimize IVT and/or purification steps of production
Support additional biochemical assay development to characterize circRNA
Adhere to protocols, manage data effectively, and maintain databases within our electronic notebook system (Benchling)
Contribute to general lab management (e.g., ordering, organization)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master of Science with 2- 3 years industry experience is preferred, title commensurate on experience
Previous experience working with in vitro transcribed RNA is preferred
Experience with or a desire to work with FPLC or HPLC is a plus
Familiarity with Benchling software is a plus
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task and coordinate work on several simultaneous projects
Ability to collaborate effectively both within and across teams
