Long Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Scientist for our Bioanalytical Department located in Mattawan, MI.

The Associate Scientist is responsible for developing and validating methods to quantify chemical entities according to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or GxP regulations. The individual in this role is proficient in the use of instrumentation and laboratory techniques and executes method development and validation. An Associate Scientist is expected to work independently, participate in process improvement initiatives, and may function as a Principal Investigator or Study Director.

The following are the minimum requirements for the Associate Scientist position.

  • PhD in relevant field and 0-2 years of relevant experience; or

  • MS/BS/BA in relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant experience; or

  • HS/GED/Associates and 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Proficient using laboratory software applications (i.e., LIMS and data acquisition software).

  • Working knowledge of GxPs and industry guidance documents.

  • Positively contributes to quality metrics by maintaining minimal level of laboratory errors and failed runs.

  • Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work under specific time constraints.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate for our Procurment team located in Mattawan, MI. A Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving shipments, delivering items, managing inventory, and shipping items. Effective communication, cross training, teamwork, and handling items safely and in compliance with regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are all required for success in this role. The following are minimum requirements related to the Shipping and Receiving Associate position. * HS/GED and 0-3 years of experience in a relevant field. * Must obtain forklift license and HAZMAT certification within 1 year. * Ability to carry out instructions and communicate effectively with customers in both oral and written fashion. * Ability to work well within a primarily steady-paced, routine environment which is occasionally high-pressure and fast-paced. * Must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. * Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated system. * Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice. * Ability to work under specific time constraints.
