As an Associate Client Executive I within the Tax Professional (Small-Mid Firms) segment at Thomson Reuters you will provide a range of sales activities within your assigned territories. You will be responsive to both external and internal customers with the ability to prioritize activities based on business impact.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Associate Client Executive I you will:

  • Increase revenue through 100% renewal of existing customer products within assigned territory

  • Sell "add-ons" to specific product lines and services (revenue targets assigned)

  • Identify major product opportunities for lead pass to the ASE/SE/SSE

  • Provide Gold Standard service by prioritizing customer needs and exceeding expectations

  • Delegate administrative and escalation requests to internal partners

  • Manage and perform calling and email campaigns relating specifically to territory that maximize revenue

  • Adhere to CRM standards: update firm information, log notes, and use correct sales cycle codes

  • Meet weekly with territory partners (CEM, RSM, ASE/SE/SSE, SDRs, SSCs) to ensure understanding and alignment of goals

Note: This is an inside sales *hybrid role (*mix of working 2 days 'in-office' and 3 days from home/remote each week) that can be based in any of these corporate Hub office locations: Ann Arbor, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Dallas/Carrollton.

What You Will Do:

In this opportunity as an Associate Sales Executive, you will:

  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis

  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer

  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration

  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations

  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner

  • Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory

  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)

  • Attend sales meetings and conventions as required

About You:

You may be a fit for the role if you have/are:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, Training & Consulting or Product Support

  • Must have enthusiastic, "Customer First" attitude

  • Must be able to work independently/self-directed manner with minimal supervision

  • Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce + overall technical aptitude

  • Must be a customer focused, results-driven individual, who is a proactive communicator

  • Ability to problem solve, adaptable to change

  • Team player, collaborative, positive demeanor

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
