Associate Repository Technician

The Associate Repository Technician supports warehouse tasks involving inventory management, storage, retrieval, and shipping of biological materials for commercial and government clients. This is an entry-level role in biotech involving biorepository industry standards and shipping or warehouse experience could make you a great candidate for this job Responsibilities Laboratory and Material Handling: Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled storage systems, ensure inventory organization, and wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) while obtaining biomaterials from repository freezers.

Operations Coordination: Processing incoming shipments, stock replenishment and inventory, and preparing samples for shipment. Organization and Documentation : Manage inventory and maintain biological materials in proper cold chain environment (196°C (-321°F) degrees to 29°C (85°F) degrees) through the monitoring of storage systems, freezers and tanks.

Performing functions following standard operating procedures, systematic data entry, and performing good documentation practices (GDP) and maintaining cGMP standards.
