  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience.

  • 3+ years of Employee Relations experience.

  • Experience with applying a wide variety of HR law.

  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Case Management software, HR Equity preferred.

  • PHR/SPHR preferred.

  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred.

  • Ability to analyze facts, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.

Right now we're looking for an Associate Relations Specialist to join our growing team. The Associate Relations Specialist serves as an objective consultant for management and associates. This role will review personnel issues and determine how to effectively address them with consideration of Company policy, legal compliance, and positive associate relations.

What would you do? The Specifics

  • Guide management on administering progressive discipline by reviewing and editing associate's past discipline, giving recommendations and assigning training.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into a variety of allegations including falsification of company records, harassment, discrimination, theft, etc.

  • Guide management on appropriate interpretation of organizational policy and procedures in the areas of associate/management issues.

  • Support positive associate relations and constructive employer-associate relationships.

  • Partner with Workers' Compensation Coordinator to aid in the coordination of workers' compensation cases involving employee relations' issues.

  • Partner with the Disability Specialist and Leave of Absence Coordinator in the gathering of information to ensure ADA compliance and necessary workplace accommodations.

  • Assist the Legal department in gathering information for the defense of EEO complaints and lawsuits.

  • Provide advice and recommendations while being a "direct relationship" advocate.

  • Thoroughly document ER issues within NVI's systems such as Ultipro (HRIS system) and HR Acuity (case management system).

  • Provide upper-level management with status updates on prominent cases and performance feedback on those interacted with during the course of business.

  • Create and revise training communications for management on various HR topics such as performance management, progressive discipline, handling harassment, and other topics that will aid in consistency, compliance, and risk-reduction.

This role focuses on NA Marketing trade media public relations directly related to NA Marketing strategic initiatives. Plans and implements public relations programs in coordination with target audience, positioning, advertising, promotion, publicity, merchandising and research programs and tactics developed and executed by the various North American marketing teams. The Manager, Public Relations and Channel Communications will work with tactical marketing managers (i.e. category managers) and functional team members (dealer marketing excellence, marketing communications managers, strategic marketing, event marketing, fulfillment providers, art directors, trade media, etc.) within the N.A. Dealer Marketing Excellence team. Job Function and Responsibilities * Lead all AGCO North American public relations activities * Work with tactical marketing managers, marketing communications managers and functional team members to develop annual public relations/publicity components of marketing plans for all categories/brands assigned, including budget and calendar mangement * Manager, Public Relations and Channel Communications will be responsible for playing a consultative role in the formulation of marketing plan strategies and tactical plans including: target market selection, message development, and research program planning. * Responsible for developing and managing annual public relations and social media plans that support NA Marketing business initiatives * Develop and maintain relationships with editorial community serving trade media, agricultural and non-ag audiences (e.g., construction, hobby farm, landscaping) towards placements of corporate, brand and product messages among publications that relate to target market strategy. * Development and coordination of press releases, planning and executing press events and trade shows media relation opportunities. * Manage all third party vendors and freelance support * Establish and maintain feature story development and placement programs * Establish network of "AGCO subject matter experts" for media to contract. * Manage AGCO sponsorships, , industry association participation and professional organization relationships as assigned and funded. Sponsorships and relationships managed by the position will include but are not limited to AGCO support of FFA, participation in Ag Media Summit, and participation in Nat. Asso. of Farm Broadcasters annual Trade Talks event. * Explore and develop co-promotion, co-sponsorship and product placement opportunities with appropriate industry partners in both agriculture and lifestyle market sectors (e.g., arranging for AGCO products to be sweepstakes and promotion contest prizes in programs operated by compatible companies/brands/products). * Manage public relations and channel communications budget (PR, social media, paid media etc). Work to maximize return on public relations and channel communications marketing investments through careful planning and stewardship of public relation programs expense budget. * Work with field sales personnel and dealers to discover and develop story ideas, PR initiatives and implement product publicity that supports dealers' sales efforts. * Support event marketing initiatives including shows, training meetings, dealer meetings, customer demo events and dealer incentive trip. Support Event Marketing Mgr. to ensure events are planned in advance (i.e. included in annual mktg. plan), support brand promise and achieve marketing objectives. * Monitor coverage and discussion of brands and products on the internet and social media. Execute communications tactics to support and defend brands, products and categories on the internet and social media. * Manage Dealer Marketing Excellence media plans that support NA Marketing plans * Provide monthly/quarterly metric dashboards that evaluate share of voice, results ROI on public relations efforts * Contribute to the publishing and editorial management of all brand magazines. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Education * B.S. Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing and/or Business Administration. Qualifications and Experience * A minimum of seven to ten years of relevant marketing experience. Preferably experience public relations, marketing communications, consumer durables or capital equipment.
